Welcome to Dhillon Vineyard Management, the leading vineyard management company in Oliver, BC. Our owner, Rajdeep Dhillon, immigrated from Punjab, India in 1997 and has been working in vineyard management for many years. In 2010, he founded Dhillon Vineyard Management with just one tractor and basic equipment. Today, Rajdeep and his son, Minraj, manage hundreds of vineyards across the Okanagan with multiple top-tier tractors and state-of-the-art equipment.

Cultivating

The process of preparing the use of land for crops

Disking

Disking a field is the procedure of preparing the soil through plowing the soil surface

Plowing

Plowing a field allows the turn over of the uppermost soil which brings fresh nutrients to the surface.

Ripping

Ripping a field is the activity of loosening and elevating soil in order to prepare the land for seeding.

Planting

The process of mass planting into soil through various land prepartion methodologies.

Lasering

The process of laser land leveling to allows the land surface of a field to become smoothen and achieve precise land leveling.

Spraying

Crop spraying is the activity of spraying various pesticides and other treatments onto crops.

Pruning

Pruning is the procedure of removing plant parts such as branches in order to enhance the plants capability of optimal growth.

Irrigation

Irrigation is developing a system in order for crops to recieve water through pipes, sprinklers and various other methodologies.

Hedging

Hedging is a summer pruning process that removes distal or apical ends of plant shoots.

Leaf Removal

Leaf removal involves the removal of leafs on grapevines to allow the vines to be less likely to getting fungal diseases due to heavy rainfall.

Sweeping

Vineyard Sweeping is the process of clearing prunings and various debris from under grape wines to improve the hygiene of plant growth.
